The generous support of volunteers makes our events a reality. We need your help. We are looking for volunteers who enjoy working as a team and contributing their skills to a world class event. People who like supporting others and have an interest in learning more about classical music.

Volunteer with us at this year’s Out West Piano Fest (25 to 27 October 2024) and become part of the team that brings this incredible festival to life in the most picturesque surroundings, a truly unique experience.

Some of the perks of volunteering at this event include the opportunity to watch performances and have the chance to meet the performers. We will provide you with a volunteer certificate. Out West Piano Fest is held on a stunning farm in Bathurst NSW. Unfortunately, Piano+ cannot provide transport or accommodation for our volunteers.

Volunteer Role Description

Role Title Volunteer Out West Piano Fest
Reporting To Production Manager and/or Operations Manager 
Description No two shifts will be the same when volunteering for Out West Piano Fest. Volunteers should be able to do a selection of the following tasks

  • Welcome Guests
  • Check Tickets
  • Usher guests around the property and to their seats
  • Car park marshalling
  • Assist caterers with food delivery and cleanup
  • Help with setup and backdown of events
Preferred Skills Customer Service. 

Works well under pressure. 

Physically fit (lifting heavy items) 

Mathematical. 

Excellent time management. 

Multi-tasking. 
Report to
  • Operations and Production Manager 
  • Other piano+ Staff 
Note
  • Snacks and drinks will be available for volunteers throughout their shift 
  • Volunteers can refuse tasks if they are not comfortable completing them
