Yui Fushiki started playing the piano at the age of four. In 2009 she was awarded a place at the Tokyo University of Arts (Geidai) where she studied with Associate Professor Susumu Aoyagi. She completed her Bachelor degree in 2013 and is currently pursuing a post graduate soloist course at the Berlin University of Arts under Professor Pascal Devoyon and Rikako Murata.
Yui gave her first solo recital at 14 and has since performed many concerts in Japan and Germany, among the more recent, the Frédéric Chopin Festival at Kawai Omotesando in Tokyo, the Crescendo Festival and the Hindemith Festival in Berlin and performances with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Daisuke Soga and Geidai Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Yoko Matsuo. She has participated in the Wolfgang Amadeus Mozarteum International Summer Academy in Salzburg and the MusicAlp International Summer Academy in Courchevel and Tignes.
