Jay Byrnes has worked as a Producer and Production Manager for the past 20 years. He was Production Manager for Piano+ from 2022-2024 before stepping into the role of Executive Producer in October 2024. Jay delivered the 2023 Sydney International Piano Competition, 2023 and 2024 Out West Piano Fest, 2024 Autumn Piano school and numerous national tours and recitals for Piano+ since his engagement.
Since 2021 Jay has been a co-founder, board member, treasurer and Producer for the Orange Chamber Music Festival, producing 4 festivals and bringing a wide range of skills to ensure successful delivery.
As a performer, Jay is highly regarded as a leading saxophonist in the Australasian region having performed throughout Europe, South America, Australia and New Zealand as a soloist and chamber musician. He has performed with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and Simon Bolivar Orchestra.
