Daniel Le started to play the piano at the age of three, and at the age of 11 was awarded a music scholarship to the Melbourne Grammar School. He then attended the Australian National Academy of Music, Young Academy Program. In 2015, Daniel attended the Bowdoin International Music Festival and was awarded a scholarship to the Engadin Piano Summer Academy in Switzerland. He currently studies with Professor Thomas Hecht at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music in Singapore, where he is on a full scholarship. His former teachers include Rita Reichman and Stephen McIntyre and he has worked with Stephen Hough, Erik Tawaststjerna and Julian Martin. Daniel will continue his studies with Andre-Michel Schub at the Manhattan School of Music.
In Australia, he has performed with the Pro-Musica Chamber Orchestra, Zelman Symphony Orchestra, Maroondah Symphony, Preston Symphony and Melbourne Grammar School Symphony Orchestra. Daniel debuted with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra in 2015 and will feature with the orchestra twice in 2016.
