Ross Heathcote works primarily as a curator with galleries, museums and heritage sites. He has developed and delivered many exhibition and public programming projects around the subjects of history, popular culture, music and visual art, and across a broad variety of venues and situations.
In the recent past, Ross has worked closely with Jim Moginie as curator of the large-scale touring exhibition ‘The Making of Midnight Oil’, and collaborated further with Jim on a music performance program. Through a variety of cultural projects, Ross has worked with prominent Australian musicians from the rock, orchestral and jazz spheres.
